The weather people were actually right for once! They said we were going to get 6 inches of snow, and I'd say we actually got around 8 inches. At least, it seemed like 8 inches when I was shoveling off the sidewalk! It was my turn, though, so I had to get it done!
Other than that, this week has been long and tiring, especially since I haven't been feeling well. I know the flu's been going around, and I don't necessarily think that's what I've had, but I definitely had something. Mostly I just felt really tired... maybe I'm not sick but just ready for spring break and a week off work! Especially since grades are due this week and that like quadruples my work load!
Heidi was supposed to come up this weekend on her way to Washington D.C. for vacation, but with the snow she didn't even try today. So I guess she'll try to make it tomorrow. Maybe.
And speaking of vacations, Chris and I are trying to think of a place to go this summer for vacation. We'd like to go somewhere new, but we can't really agree on a common list of locations. He wants to go to Vegas, but since I get bored in casinos relatively quickly, and he's already said he wouldn't want to see any shows, that doesn't seem like a good option. So if any of you have any suggestions, let me know. I teach summer school, so I'm still working until the last week of June, which means it will be right in the middle of summer when we can go. I'm kind of leaning towards Key West, but I don't know... We're also considering going somewhere with Adam and Grace (Adam's Chris's best friend, and he and Grace live in South Carolina). But who knows at this point?

I'm with you on the two hour delay on Monday. I hope for one every Monday morning though!
As far as the vacation goes, I went to Key West senior year of college with some friends of mine. I wasn't too excited with it, but I'm not all about the bar scene. I thought it was going to have a great beach, but it was rocky and the water wasn't that warm. But if you guys like it's the place to go!
Oh yeah, we need to get together with you guys before baseball season starts. Let me know when and if you want to!
Are you more into sightseeing or beaches? I know my senior year of college Chris, Billie, & I headed to Palm Springs & San Diego.. TONS to do there! I'd go back in heart beat!! Palm Springs has a casino (for Chris), adorable little shopping places.. a desert with all the desert life, a palm tree forest, cacti.. etc. There is a huge mountain with a.. ohh, I forget what they are called, like a ski lift... way cool. It is about 1(ish) hour from LA.. about 1 1/2(ish) hours from San Diego. I think you'd like it. It was great!
Either way.. GOOD LUCK! I know Andy and I have WAY different ideas on the perfect vaca!! :)
I mostly want to sit on a beach and do nothing. Chris will want to do activities, like jet skis or golf or whatever.... pretty much nonstop. His ADHD definitely kicks in on vacation, because from from the minute we wake up until we go to sleep we're always doing something. Thanks for the info!
Sorry, I don't have too many great ideas for vacations ~ especially beach spots. I would agree with Missy on California. Doug and I really enjoyed it when we went last year. And...in the summer, the weather would definitely be warmer than when we were there. The only time I've been to Florida was on the band trip many moons ago. I did go to the Gulf Shores with Kristen once, and it was a lot of fun. Other than that...I enjoyed Puerto Rico, but that would be way too hot in the middle of summer. I also enjoyed Hawaii, but you have been there and know what it is like. I'm sure you will have fun what ever you do.
